Playing around with yet another Random Map

I've been working on a script generated map, which my plan is to continue to improve. It is a blocky terrain map. Could be a public test soon :)

Come and see the rotation server, a different map every 24 hours. Some of these maps have never been on the public list, some are old favorites.

Riot FFA

I have been searching for a ffa map with players on it, not to be found. So I decided I would make one. I made it by hand, which is my favorite way to make box/pyramid type maps. It was loads of fun to make, and I think its loads of fun to play on. So give it a try.

Linux Flashback :: Ubuntu 6.10

I came across some old Linux CD's, while cleaning up, and decided to compare the new versions with the old versions of some of these distro's. I must have 200 of these discs that I have accumulated over the years.

I am amazed at the changes in Ubuntu over the years, I also found a lot of things in common with the modern version. I'll let the screenshots speak for themselves.

Just a little trip back in time. More to Come!!

Halftime Gameplay

Many of you out there already know that a CTF map should be balanced. But what if you wanted to play on a map that was not balanced. The answer is to have teams and there teamscore switch every so often, this is the idea behind Halftime.

I have Hix up at with the red team flag off the map, so for 15 minutes you simply try to cap if your on the red team, and if purple team, you simply defend. Then it all gets switched.

Its important to understand, you do not have to rejoin, it simply switches while your playing, but don't worry there is a warning at 10 seconds before that happens.

Give it a try, and let me know what you think. I have tons of ideas for Halftime, but I simply need to test the concept.
